Hadith for Ramadhan

The Prophet (peace be upon him) said: "Whoever fasts during Ramadan out of sincere faith and hoping to attain Allah's rewards, then all his past sins will be forgiven." (Bukhari)

The Messenger of Allah (sallallaahu ’alayhi wa sallam) said, , "When the month of Ramadan starts, the gates of the heaven are opened and the gates of Hell are closed and the devils are chained." (Bukhari)

The Prophet (peace be upon him) said: "Everything has a cleansing agent and fasting is the cleansing agent for the body. Fasting is more a matter of patience than of anything else." (Ibn Majah)

‎"Oh you who believe! Fasting is prescribed to you as it was prescribed to those before you, that you many learn piety and rightousness" (Quran, Baqarah, 2:183)
